Circumference of a Circle – Math Activity
Grade 5 children had learnt how to compute the circumference of a circle. They put their knowledge to practical application by calculating the circumference of circular objects in their household. Objects included car tyre, cycle wheel, clock, plate, bowl, frisbee ring, hula hoop, coconut shell, traditional grinding stone and even mridangam! This is how we make number crunching fun!!!
