What a joyous day it was at Vidhya Peetham i-School! Our Pre-KG to Grade 2 students transformed into little Krishnas and Radhas, filling our campus with divine energy and infectious smiles. ?
A Feast for the Senses: Our Vibrant Celebration ??
The air was thick with excitement as our young ones, dressed in their colorful best, gathered around our beautifully decorated prayer spot. Here’s how we turned our school into a mini Gokul:
– Curved bricks lined with glowing ‘agal vilakku’ created a magical ambiance ?️
– Colorful pots, brass vessels, and ‘kuthu velakku’ added authentic touches ?
– ‘Thumba’ and flower garlands brought nature’s beauty indoors ?
Our older students (Grades 3-10) joined as an enthusiastic audience, making it a true school-wide celebration!
Little Stars Shine Bright: Performances Galore ??
The Janmashtami celebrations kicked off with a solemn prayer, quickly followed by energetic dances that our little ones had been practicing for a week. The pride on their faces as they performed without fear was priceless! ??
Sweet Offerings and Photo Ops ??
Our tiny devotees brought homemade sweets, fruits, and flowers as offerings, learning the joy of giving. Each class got their moment in the spotlight with special photo sessions near the beautifully decorated Krishna statue. Talk about Instagram-worthy moments! ?✨
