Vinayagar Chaturthi 2024 ??
We celebrated Vinayagar Chaturthi with great enthusiasm and joy! ? Our students from Pre-KG to Grade 9 came together to honor Lord Ganesha in a truly spectacular fashion. ?
A Day of Tradition and Learning ??️
Our young learners arrived in colorful traditional attire, bringing homemade sweets, fruits, and flowers as offerings. ??? The school grounds were transformed into a festive paradise, with:
– Beautifully decorated Vinayagar statue ?✨
– Floral garlands and hanging flower strings ??
– Kuthu vilaku lighting up the area ?
– Thamboolam plates filled with offerings ?️
A Breathtaking Altar ??
The centerpiece of our celebration was truly awe-inspiring! Our school Ganesha (Vinayagar) statue was beautifully decked up, surrounded by vibrant marigold garlands in shades of orange and yellow. ?? Before the deity, a stunning array of offerings was laid out on a decorative rangoli:
– Colorful flowers in reds and yellows ??
– Traditional sweets and fruits sweet?
– Glowing lamps and fragrant incense ?️
– Coconuts and bananas for prosperity ??
The sight was not just visually appealing but also deeply spiritual, connecting our students to age-old traditions. ?️✨
Joyful Performances and Activities ??
The celebration kicked off at 11 AM with a melodious prayer song, followed by:
– Graceful dances ?
– Inspiring speeches ?
– Energetic group performances ?♀️
– Exciting prize distribution ?
Our students, from the tiniest tots to the confident 9th graders, showcased their talents without a hint of stage fright! ?
