At Vidhya Peetham i-School, we believe in nurturing creativity while fostering a deep connection with nature. Our recent Leaf Art for Kids activity with Grade 5 students exemplified this philosophy, combining artistic expression with environmental awareness at one of the top schools in Salem.

The Magic of Leaf Art

Our students embarked on an exciting artistic journey, transforming fallen leaves into magnificent works of art. This innovative activity went beyond traditional craft-making โ€“ it became a lesson in observation, patience, and creative thinking. The children collected various leaves in different colors and shapes, turning them into fascinating representations of animals, birds, and other creative designs.

The process was simple yet engaging:
– Students gathered diverse leaves from our school grounds
– Each child received a quarter-size chart paper as their canvas
– Using basic materials like glue and their collected leaves
– They carefully arranged and fixed the leaves to create their designs
