PreKG Children Step into the New Academic Year

On 24 June 2026, our PreKG children stepped into the new academic year, and the day began with plenty of smiles at a PreKG photo booth set up for the occasion.

A PreKG photo booth to start the year

The booth was built as a large cardboard window, painted pink and mint green and framed with fresh flowers. Bougainvillea in pink, purple, orange and white filled the window box, and clusters of yellow blooms trailed down one side. One by one, and sometimes in pairs, the children stepped up to look out through the window. Some held on to the frame, some peeked around it, and all of them were smiles. The pictures from the PreKG photo booth show what a cheerful start to the year it was for our youngest learners.

Music, dance and games

After the photos, the excitement continued with music, dance and games. For children at the very beginning of their school journey, moments like these are a gentle way to settle into a new space and enjoy being part of a group.

A walk on the nature trail

The day then slowed to a calmer pace with a serene walk along our campus nature trail. After the music and games, the quiet of the trail gave the children a different way to enjoy their surroundings.

We are glad to see our PreKG children begin the year in such good spirits, and we look forward to the months ahead with them.
