Guess what happened at Vidhya Peetham i-School, the best CBSE school in Salem? Our Grade 3 students turned their measuring tapes into magic wands and went on an exciting mathematical treasure hunt, finding the area and perimeter of squares and rectangles!

Adventures in Measuring

Armed with measuring tapes and rulers, our little mathematicians explored every corner of the school campus. From playground equipment to stone benches, nothing escaped their curious measurements! Who knew math could be this exciting?

Our Math Heroes in Action!

What did our young explorers measure? to learn about area and perimeter of squares and rectangles? Everything they could find:
– Playground swings (who doesn’t want to know the area of their favorite swing?)
– Stone benches (perfect squares for perfect calculations!)
– Classroom tiles (turns out, our school is one big math problem!)
– Windows and steps (because why not?)

Learning Through Discovery

But wait, there’s more! Our students didn’t just measure things – they:
– Worked in detective teams
– Recorded their findings like real scientists
– Calculated areas and perimeters (and had fun doing it!)
– Made math their new best friend
