Hands-on Learning Experience
The classroom buzzed with excitement as students:
– Separated cashews from raisins manually, developing fine motor skills
– Used strainers to filter tea from tea leaves, learning about filtration
– Discovered the difference between soluble substances (like salt in water) and insoluble substances (like sand in water)
– Practiced sieving techniques to separate pasta from flour
Building Scientific Understanding Through Practice
Students learned that different mixtures require different separation methods. Through these hands-on experiments, they:
