Changes to Terms and Conditions

Vidhya Peetham Charitable Trust, Vidhya Peetham i-School and subsidiaries/service providers/associates associated with Vidhya Peetham i-School, reserve the right, at their discretion, to modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms & Conditions at any time by posting the amended Terms & Conditions. Please check these Terms & Conditions periodically for changes. Your continued use of the worksheets and e-learning service after the posting of changes constitutes your binding acceptance of such changes. 

 Optional Service

– Worksheet and/or E-learning fee is an OPTIONAL, value-added, PAID Worksheet and/or E-learning service extended at the sole DISCRETION of Vidhya Peetham i-School. There is no compulsion or discrimination on parent, guardian, child to use this service.

– “Worksheet” refers to printed/photocopied study material.

– “E-learning Fee” is for online e-sheets posted either/both on www.kalpavrikshaonline.org and www.prakritionline.net.

 Eligibility for Use of Worksheet and/or E-learning Service

– To avail this OPTIONAL, value-added, PAID service, the child should be a student of Vidhya Peetham i-School.

– Receipt of Term 1 School Fee invoice is a precondition for paying and availing the Term 1 Worksheet and/or E-learning service.

– Receipt of Term 2 School Fee invoice is a precondition for paying and availing the Term 2 Worksheet and/or E-learning service.

– If payment is made for Worksheet and/or E-learning invoice without paying the corresponding term’s school fee, the child is not eligible to use the Worksheet and/or E-learning service and the payment will be returned.

Refund Policy

– If dissatisfied with worksheets and/or online e-sheets, parents can raise a refund request for Worksheet and/or E-learning Fee within 14 calendar days of issuance of worksheets or within 14 calendar days of activation of e-learning services, whichever is earlier. Worksheets & E-learning Fee will be refunded without any questions being asked.

– After 14 calendar days of issuance of worksheets or after 14 calendar days of activation of e-learning services, this fee is NON-REFUNDABLE, no matter what.

– Term 1 Worksheet and E-learning Fee and Term 2 Worksheet and E-learning Fee are both governed by the same refund policy.

 Duration of Use

– Academic year is from 1st April to 31st March.

– The Term 1 Worksheet and/or E-learning Fee allows a child to use the worksheets and online e-sheets either/both on www.kalpavrikshaonline.org or/and www.prakritionline.net of the child’s class for the 1st term only, that is from the 1st of April of the academic year till the 7th of September of the same academic year for which the fee is being paid.

– The Term 2 Worksheet and/or E-learning Fee allows the child to continue to use the worksheets and online e-sheets either/both on www.kalpavrikshaonline.org or/and www.prakritionline.net of the child’s class for the 2nd term, that is from the 8th of September of the academic year till the 31st of March of the same academic year for which the fee is being paid.

Activation of E-learning

E-learning services will be activated within 7 working days after receipt of payment and child will have access to the online e-sheets of the child’s class FROM the date of activation.

Late Fee

No late fee is charged for Worksheet and/or E-learning Fee for payment made after the due date.

INDEMNITY

The parent, guardian, child unilaterally agree to indemnify and hold harmless, without objection, Vidhya Peetham Charitable Trust, its trustees and all employees of the trust, Vidhya Peetham i-School, its directors and all employees of the school, subsidiaries/service providers/associates associated with Vidhya Peetham Charitable Trust and Vidhya Peetham i-School, the subsidiaries’/service providers’/associates’ owners, partners and all employees from and against any claims, actions and/or demands and/or liabilities and/or losses and/or damages whatsoever arising from or resulting from the use of the website www.vidhyapeethamischool.org, use of worksheets, online e-sheets & e-books hosted in www.kalpavrikshaonline.org and www.prakritionline.net or their breach of the terms.

LIABILITY

The parent, guardian, child agree that Vidhya Peetham Charitable Trust, its trustees and all employees of the trust, Vidhya Peetham i-School, its directors and all employees of the school, subsidiaries/service providers/associates associated with Vidhya Peetham i-School, the subsidiaries’/service providers’/associates’ owners, partners and all employees shall not be liable for any direct or/and indirect or/and incidental or/and special or/and consequential or/and exemplary damages, resulting from the use or/and the inability to use the service or/and for cost of procurement of services or/and messages received or/and transactions entered into through or/and from the service including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits or/and use or/and data or other intangible.

The parent, guardian, child further agree that Vidhya Peetham Charitable Trust, its trustees and all employees of the trust, Vidhya Peetham i-School, its directors and all employees of the school, subsidiaries/service providers/associates associated with Vidhya Peetham i-School, the subsidiaries’/service providers’/associates’ owners, partners and all employees shall not be liable for any damages arising from interruption, suspension or termination of service, including but not limited to direct or/and indirect or/and incidental or/and special consequential or/and exemplary damages, whether such interruption or/and suspension or/and termination was justified or not, negligent or intentional, inadvertent or advertent.

In sum, in no event shall Vidhya Peetham Charitable Trust, its trustees and all employees of the trust, Vidhya Peetham i-School, its directors and all employees of the school, subsidiaries/service providers/associates associated with Vidhya Peetham i-School, the subsidiaries’/service providers’/associates’ owners, partners and employees total liability to the parent, guardian, child for all damages or/and losses or/and causes of action exceed the amount paid by the parent, guardian, child, if any, that is related to the cause of action.

DISCLAIMER OF CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES

In no event shall Vidhya Peetham Charitable Trust, its trustees and all employees of the trust, Vidhya Peetham i-School, its directors and all employees of the school, subsidiaries/service providers/associates associated with Vidhya Peetham i-School, the subsidiaries’/service providers’/associates’ owners, partners and employees be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitations, incidental and consequential damages, lost profits, or damage to computer hardware or loss of data information or business interruption or emotional, psychological, physiological distress/damages) resulting from the use or inability to use of worksheets and online e-sheets, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not, such organization or entities were advised of the possibility of such damages.
